Abstract
The Zowie S2 Gaming Mouse is a fairly new entrant to the gaming mouse request, released in 2018. Still, its development is grounded on times of experience and invention. The Zowie brand was founded in 2008 by a group of professional gamers with the goal of developing high performance and dependable gaming peripherals. Their products were snappily espoused by professional gamers around the world. Over time, the Zowie S2 gaming mouse brand has evolved and streamlined. Mouse design and features reflect the brand’s commitment to performance, trustability, and customization.

Introduction
Esports have been a form of competition for over 40 years now, where the games range from first-person shooters to playing soccer with flying cars. With the evolution of gaming and esports came along a whole new set of technology that was being developed to fit the players and enhance the skills they were displaying on the main stage, such as gaming mice. The first gaming mouse came around 1992 with the release of Mario Paint. The mouse was able to click with more accuracy and freedom of movement (Fig.1)(Miller, 2021). As technology and gaming evolved, the means for how precise and smooth gameplay could become with the right mouse amplified. The Zowie S2 gaming mouse is a flexible tool with a wide range of applications. The lightweight, ergonomic design of this item makes it perfect for players who expect accuracy and quickness. The Zowie S2 can be used for regular computer use or for work-related tasks. Its customizable buttons and adjustable DPI settings enable users to customize the mouse according to their needs (Hossain, 2020).

Background
Zowie was founded at the end of 2008, but then was taken over by BenQ at the end of 2015, as they announced in a tweet on December 10th, 2015 (BenQ, 2015) . The Zowie S2 gaming mouse was first introduced in 2018 by Zowie, a BenQ Corporation subsidiary that manufactures gaming peripherals (Fig. 2). The Zowie EC2-A gaming mouse has been redesigned into the S2, which has improved performance features and is lighter, lower, and satiny (Linhares, 2020). Zowie has a long history in the gaming supplement industry, with a focus on creating products that provide competitive gamers with the perfection and delicacy they need to succeed. The company has established a solid reputation for producing gaming monitors, keyboards, and mice of the highest possible quality since its inception in 2008.

Zowie’s primary focus was the product, which consisted of gaming peripherals with minimal design and functionality. Their products were designed to be reliable and simple to use, giving competitive gamers the best possible performance. Zowie’s details evolved over time to meet the evolving requirements of the gaming original area. The company started incorporating new technologies into their products, like customizable buttons and advanced detectors, to give players more control and perfection. Zowie worked closely with professional gamers to improve the design and functionality of the S2, focusing on improving button placement and feedback, decreasing sluggishness, and adding shadowing delicacy. The 3360 detector, which provides precise following and is regarded astronomically as possibly the most stylish detector available, is one of the S2’s most important features (Fig. 3).

As far as assembling, Zowie utilizes a severe cycle for quality control to ensure that each mouse meets their elite exhibition. The S2 can repulse the misfortunes of serious gaming on the grounds that the organization utilizes excellent accessories and elements. The overall development of the Zowie S2 gaming mouse demonstrates the company’s commitment to producing products that meet the needs of professional gamers. Through a combination of player feedback, rigorous testing, and ongoing innovation, Zowie has developed a mouse that is favored by numerous competitive gamers worldwide.

The Zowie S2 mouse is a medium-sized gaming mouse suitable for both right and left handed gamers. At 120mm long, 64mm wide and 38mm high, it is slightly smaller than other gaming mice on the market. It weighs a relatively light 82 grams without cables, allowing for quick and precise movements. The matte coating of the high-quality plastic mouse ensures a secure and comfortable grip. It has a fingerprint and sweat resistant coating, so you don’t have to worry about it getting dirty even after long hours of gameplay. The S2 has two main buttons that provide satisfying tactile feedback and are responsive and clicky. Additionally, there are two side buttons on the left side that can be remapped to perform different tasks (Fig. 4). A rubberized scroll wheel allows for smooth and precise scrolling. The PixArt PMW3360 sensor that comes with the S2 is one of the best sensors in a gaming mouse. It can track movement up to 250 inches per second and has a maximum DPI of 3,200, making it perfect for fast-paced games that require quick reflexes. The Zowie mouse includes five main parts, which include the 3360 sensor, the left and right click buttons, the two side buttons, the scroll wheel, and the dpi adjustment button.

Top View
- Scroll Wheel
The Zowie S2 mouse scroll wheel sits in the middle of the mouse, allowing users to scroll content with haptic feedback and a rubberized texture. It can also be clicked as his third button that can be programmed for various functions.
- Left/Right Click Buttons
The left and right clicks on the Zowie S2 mouse are located on the top left and top right of the mouse respectively. Its main function is to allow users to left-click and right-click, the most commonly used functions of a computer mouse. Clicks are registered via mechanical switches that provide satisfying tactile feedback when pressed. ‘

- 3360 sensor
The Zowie S2 Mouse’s 3360 sensor on the bottom accurately tracks mouse movements . The 3360 sensor is a key component of the Zowie S2 mouse, providing users with reliable and precise tracking for a smooth and responsive experience.
- DPI adjustment
Zowie S2 has a DPI adjustment button on the bottom that changes the sensitivity of your mouse for better accuracy and precision while gaming.

- Side Buttons
Zowie S2 has two side buttons on the left side of the mouse. These buttons can be customized using Zowie software to perform a variety of functions, including:
adjust DPI settings, navigate websites, enable commands in games, and more. During gameplay, these side buttons provide additional options for players to perform certain actions quickly and efficiently, enhancing their gaming experience.

Conclusion
The Zowie S2 gaming mouse benefits society by giving players access to top-notch, dependable tools to improve their gaming experience.
